What We Believe
God
God is the Creator and absolute ruler of the universe. He is eternally existent in three personalities: the Father; the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
Genesis 1:1, 26-27; 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 Corinthians 13:14
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the virgin born Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on the cross. Three days after His death and burial, He arose from the dead to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended back to Heaven, after His resurrection, and assumed His place of glory at His Father’s right hand. Soon, He will return to the earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He accomplishes this by making men aware of their sinful condition and pointing out the truth concerning who Jesus Christ is. He also lives in every Christian from the very moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing the right thing. The Christian seeks to live under the power of the Holy Spirit every day.

The Bible
The Bible is the perfect, infallible, divinely inspired Word of God. It was written by human authors under the direct supervision and supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for all Christian belief and practice. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error whatsoever.
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalms 12:6; 119;89; 105; 160; Proverbs 30:5; 2 Peter 1:21.
Man
Man is created in the spiritual image of God Himself, to be like Him in character. He is the supreme object of God’s wonderful creation. Although man possesses great power to do good, he is absolutely marred by sin and is inherently wicked. Mankind possesses an attitude of disobedience toward God and His Law. This disobedient spirit and the resulting acts are called sin. Sin separates mankind from God.
Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Psalm 58:3; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2.
Salvation
Salvation is God’s gift to humanity. Men, left to themselves, can never produce salvation through their good works or self-improvement. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. He died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day for our justification. Salvation is produced only by trusting Jesus Christ as God’s perfect offer of forgiveness. Eternal life begins the instant a person receives Jesus as his personal Savior. Salvation is a product of God’s sovereign grace. Man is only responsible for believing, by faith, what the Word of God says concerning salvation in Jesus Christ.
John 3:3, 7, 16; Acts 16:31; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6; 1:12; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1.
Eternal Security
Because salvation is God’s gift to mankind, the believer is eternally secure in His salvation. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of Almighty God, not by the self-effort of the believer. It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives this security.
John 10:28-29; 2 Timothy 1:12; Hebrews 6:4-6; 7:25; 10:10, 14; 1 Peter 1:3-5.
Eternity
Man was created to live forever. He will live forever in one of two places. Man will either dwell with God in Heaven, through the forgiveness of his sins faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, or he will exist forever in Hell, eternally separated from God. To receive Jesus into one’s heart produces salvation this will result in an eternal union between the believer and God. To reject Jesus Christ will guarantee that the unbeliever will spend eternity in Hell, forever separated from the presence of God. Heaven and Hell are the only places of eternal existence.
Psalm 9:17; Daniel 12:2; Mark 9:43-49; Luke 16:19-31; John 3:16-18; 36; 5:24-29; 11:25-26; Romans 6:23; 2 Thes. 1:9-10; Revelation 20:15.
Satan
Satan is literal and personal, was created holy but through pride and wicked ambition rebelled against God, cast from Heaven and given limited reign of the earth with evil spirits. Defeated at Calvary, but God allows his devices to be used, but only to bring glory to the Lord Jesus. The Christian has the power of resistance and victory through the Blood of Christ. His doom is certain.
Isa.14:14, 21; Jn.16:11; Eph. 2:14; Rev. 20:10
Marriage
Marriage was ordained by God to be the union of one man and one woman and Marriage is the firmest foundation for building a family. Marriage mirrors God’s covenant relationship with His people. Any relation, except between a husband and wife, are sinful. God can and will forgive individuals of these sins when they repentant and come to Him for forgiveness.
Gen. 2:23-24: Prov.: 18: 22: 1 Corin. 11:11-12
The Local Church, Baptism, Communion
The Bible teaches the assembling together of Baptized, immersed, believers that worship the Lord in Spirit and truth, in unity and harmony, and without confusion. Each Church is to carry out the Great Commission and observe Baptism by immersion, and the taking of the Lords Supper.

Second Coming
The Bible teaches the pre-tribulational, pre-millennial and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ. First is the catching away of the saints, then a seven year period of tribulation, then the Second Coming of the Lord to rule and to reign the earth for the millennium.
Matt. 24:44; John 14:1- 3; I Corin. 15: 51-57; I Thess. 4:13-18
Evangelism
The church has been commissioned by the Lord to take the Gospel into all the world. We have a duty and a responsibility to witness to those at home and abroad. We support missionaries so they can take the Gospel where we cannot. Jesus died for all and wants everyone to come to the knowledge of the truth. God will not violate the will of an individual, but will use the preaching of the Gospel and the convicting power of the Holy Spirit to bring souls to Himself. We do not believe in the TULIP doctrine of Calvinism.
