Pastor

Pastor Steve Stone was born in Pickens County, South Carolina, on March 7, 1958, to J. B. and Eula Mae Stone.  He was saved on November 9, 1975, at Cannon Mountain Baptist Church in Pickens.

He met Kathy Holliday, his future wife, at a friend’s house and started visiting Camp Creek Baptist Church. Pastor Steve and Kathy married on November 19, 1978, while attending Bible College to prepare to serve the Lord. They have three children and eight grandchildren.

They were accepted with Baptist International Missions, Inc. in July, 1981 to do church planting in Canada. Pastor Steve and Kathy worked in Canada from 1984 through 2010; then served as BIMI Far North Director (Alaska, Canada, and Greenland) from 2010 through 2018.

In January, 2018, Pastor Steve became pastor of Camp Creek Baptist Church. Pastor Steve is thankful to continue to do God’s work and will in this position. They continue looking up to the Lord and reaching out to see souls saved.  Come and join Pastor Steve and Kathy in this growing family of faith!
